What we are doing

CoinFest is a worldwide conference that was started in 2013 as a relatively small gathering of 100 or so Bitcoiners, celebrating the adoption of Bitcoin at a Waves Coffee House in Vancouver. It was conceived as a way to incentivize cryptocurrency acceptance while educating the public about its importance and use.  Now, Bitcoiners from around the world have started organising their own CoinFest events, focused on the ideas of that first gathering in Vacouver.

CoinFest Estonia main goals are:

• Informing the Estonian public about cryptocurrencies
• Explaining applicable Estonian taxation and legislation
• Demonstrating the potential of cryptocurrencies for businesses
• Growing and strengthening the international cryptocurrency community
